Transcending language, nationality and geography, Mo has been directing TV commercials and visual effects for more than a decade.  Beginning his career in Tehran, Mo quickly realized the power of images and their ability to suspend disbelief.  With a foundation in classical animation, storyboarding, character design, and a B.A. in Graphic Design, Mo moved seamlessly to the world of CGI and traded his pen for a mouse. In addition to the awards he has won since he moved to Canada, (Gemini Award Nominated for The Best Visual Effects for The Great Polar Bear Adventure and Discreet best visual effects award - Toronto online film festival), Mo’s feature film credits as Visual Effects Supervisor are: Stranger Than Fiction, Trailer Park Boys, The Ultimate Gift, The Sentinel, Alice Blue, Eve, Who Is Cletis Tout, and he has worked as freelance VFX lead on movies like: Silent Hill, Babel, Number 23, The Woods, The Adventures of Sharkboy and Lavagirl 3D, The Matador, Shattered City: The Halifax Explosion. Mo has worked on Starhunter 2300, 22 episodes for the TV series as a Visual Effect supervisor and Animation Director. And creating the new HD TV show “ICE PLANET”. Mo has been an integral part of the documentaries “The Great Polar Bear Adventure”,   "Napoleon's Lost Fleet", "Shinny", "Keep on Shucking", commercials for Pepsi, RTA, Gillette, Volks Wagen, REMAX,  Natrel, Microsoft, Nabisco, Dr. Oetker, Leap, Bulls Eye BBQ Sauce, the children's shows “It’s a Big Big World”, "Itsy Bitsy" and "Bad Dog" as well as music videos for Vendata Red, SHeDAISY and K-OS.
